Welcome
We were founded in 1984 as a firm of Chartered Accountants and Management Consultants. We restructured the group in 2001 to concentrate on the needs of professional consultants living and working overseas. Since then our firm of Chartered Accountants has specialised in the taxation of non UK domiciles to ensure their tax compliance.
Take Control of your Career
You will have Freedom of Choice over the assignments you accept. We will work together to source assignments for your career development. We will negotiate rates and agree the terms of the contract with the client. There will never be any pressure to accept a particular assignment.
Transparency of Financial Information
You will know the terms of your assignment, billing to the client, salaries and overheads, and therefore your contribution to the success of the firm.
Where we are
In 1984 our first office was in London. We opened the Sydney office in 1998.
Amsterdam followed in 2005 at the request of Netherlands clients. We set up an Asia Pacific regional office in 2006 in Singapore. The regulatory environment in Switzerland required an office in Geneva in 2010. The return of New Zealand consultants led to an office in Auckland in 2011.
Charles Marcus consultants have worked in over 40 countries. Fortunately, not all of them required a local office.
